Though sustainable agriculture can help farmers grow more profitably while protecting their land, most Guatemalan producers lack access to needed information and training. Semilla Nueva works with communities to introduce sustainable agriculture through collaborative projects. These projects teach communities alternative growing practices and develop the tools for future innovation. To ensure lasting results, we build bridges between our partner communities, farmers and institutions engaged in sustainable agriculture, establishing an enduring and supportive network.
